5th Annual Backpack Drive a Huge Success!

Thank you for all the donations to our Annual Backpack Drive! Your generosity allowed us to provide over 160 backpacks for kids at Hesed House. In the last fifteen years the annual drive has provided over 1800 backpacks and 10,00 pounds of school supplies to help kids start the school year right.

Thanks to RAD members, Caroline Morrison for leading the project , and Linda & Ashley Wilhelm who were able to get us a great deal on the backpacks.

Another beautiful day at Fredenhagen Park

serving our community.

A beautiful resource, the park provides enjoyment for everyone.

Thank you RAD for your commitment to

Service above Self.

5th Annual Backpack Drive

Each fall, the Rotary Club of Naperville After Dark alongside the Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise provides backpacks for kids at Hesed House who need supplies for school. Last year our clubs were able to provide 85 backpacks for students. This year our goal is 100 backpacks. Your cash donation will be used to purchase high quality backpacks at a discounted rate. We are collecting donations through August 5.

Or you can bring purchased backpacks to our July 27 or August 10 RAD meetings.

Let’s help these kids get off to a great start this fall!

District Governor debi Ross visits RAD

We were excited to have debi join us on October 22nd where she "crowned" our RAD Rockstar, Karyn Charvat.  She also awarded member, Dr, Caroline Morrison with her Paul Harris Fellow Plus 4 Gold pin for her ongoing dedication and support of the Rotary Foundation.

In celebration of Rotary World Polio Day on October 24th, we used purple ribbons to signify that we are "this close" to Polio eradication in the world.
